Janadriyah, the National festival for Heritage & culture is organized every year by Ministry of National Guard, Saudi Arabia .
Saudia airlines participated in event by transporting equipment of inaugural ceremony for this festival.
It carried 60 tons of equipment, cables, screen, etc from Vatry airport, France to King Khalid airport, Riyadh by B747-400F Aircraft on Dec.08 & the same was carried back to Vatry the same month.

Saudia cargo is continuously providing support in terms of logistics services & freighter capabilities for this National Festival for past few years .

Saudia Cargo for the first time transported 58 cars & various equipment for ABB FIA Formula E Championship sponsored by Saudi Airlines .

The cars , spares & equipment are flown in from various European destinations to Ad Diriyah located on outskirts of Riyadh also handling first time this ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

Formula E championship inspired by innovation uses only electric powered cars for racing & it gives same excitement of track racing.

The 58 cars transported through several aircrafts had a combined load of 220 tonnes.

The Formula E Championship started from Beijing in 2014 touring New York, Paris , Hongkong & now the fifith series race will be in Ad Diriyah.

This 3 day festival will have various activities from track racing to live musical performance to gaming platforms which will be an exciting opportunity for Formula E championship fans.

UPS customers can now ship biological substances, dangerous goods in excepted quantities and shipments using dry ice to more than 20 additional international destinations.
The US-based global express and logistics’ operator says that the expansion is a direct response to a growing demand from biopharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics companies, laboratories and distributors.  
“The UPS global transportation network has been enhanced to move biological specimens to and from more than 50 countries around the world,” said John Menna, UPS vice president of global strategy, healthcare logistics.
“The expanded programme was guided by our customers to include the locations that are most important to them.”
UPS is now able to pick up and deliver packages under regulation UN3373 (Biologic Substances, Category B, Diagnostic Specimen and Clinical Specimen) as well as UN1845 (Carbon Dioxide, solid or dry ice) in Australia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Panama, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey and Ukraine.
UN3373 and UN1845 are guidelines issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to regulate the safe transportation of goods using air transportation modes.

For the first time ever, the largest exhibition for transport and logistics in Turkey will open its gates from Wednesday through Friday this year. Gerhard Gerritzen, Deputy Managing Director of Messe München, explains the event's new timing: "At the request of several exhibitors and visitors, the show now begins on Wednesday instead of Thursday, and so it ends before the weekend. The move will also emphasize the event's character as a trade show more clearly." The 8th logitrans—the International Transport Logistics Exhibition—takes place at the Expo Center ifm in Istanbul from November 19–21, 2014.

The first day of the exhibition, Wednesday, also has new opening hours from 14:00 to 20:00. As in the past, the exhibition will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 on Thursday and Friday. It will present a wide range of products and services along the entire value chain for logistics, telematics and transport.

Other new developments include countries pavilions from Luxemburg, which is being organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs there, and from the Czech Republic, which is being organized by Czech Trade. There will also be joint exhibits from Germany and Austria, both of which have exhibited here in previous years.
